TEMPORARY ROUTE CHANGES
Here is an overview of temporary route changes and other temporary measures worth being aware of when walking the Marsh Trail.
These might be roadworks, difficult conditions, flooding or the like that may affect the route of the Marsh Trail.
Pedestrian zone/Vestergade in Tønder
In Tønder, road and pavement is been taking place over an extended period. Marskstien, along with the red and black loop through Tønder town, has been temporarily rerouted, so the routes now pass through the pedestrian zone/Vestergade instead of going over Skibbroen, Skibbrogade, Gråbrødre Torv, and Lillegade. The redirection of the paths will be in effect until the completion of urban renewal in the area, which is scheduled for autumn 2023.
